Forbes is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C#, SQL Server, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to join our team in Munich, Germany.

This position is also open to remote work.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of our team working on cutting-edge space and laser technology.

Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support the development of advanced space solutions and aerospace applications.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in C# programming and a passion for the aerospace and space exploration industry.

Requirements:

Proficiency in C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python
Familiarity with Angular and React frameworks
Knowledge of interfaces such as Graph, REST, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC
Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Timescale DB
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
Fluent in German (C1 level or above)
Interest in the space industry

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using various programming languages and frameworks
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate software applications with hardware systems
Develop and implement algorithms and data structures to optimize system performance and efficiency
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Contribute to the design and development of new software features and applications
Code using C#, SQL Server, TypeScript, JavaScript
