The Account Specialist II will be personally responsible for generating new business revenue in assigned territory and maintain (team) renewal retention rate of 93.
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Proactively identify, develop and nurture leads through effective qualifying sales calls and manage sales cycle to close new business.
Leverage CRM platform/data and other sales tools to build Pipeline. Achieve sales goals by assessing Prospect needs and following a defined selling processes.Client Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and offer tailored solutions. Effectively develop referral opportunities from these relationships.
Product Knowledge:
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, insurance products, and regulations to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
Negotiation and Sales:
Presenting insurance solutions to potential clients, negotiating terms, and closing sales to meet revenue targets.
Negotiate terms with internal and external underwriting staff
Market Research:
Conducting market research to identify opportunities for business growth, analyze competitors, and develop strategies to position the insurance products effectively.
Collaboration:
Working closely with internal teams such as underwriters, claims adjusters, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of insurance services.
Reporting:
Monitoring and tracking sales performance, preparing reports, and providing insights on key metrics to management.
Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry.
Retention:
Risk Assessment:
Analyzing client accounts to identify potential risks or changes in circumstances that may affect their insurance needs, and offering suitable solutions to address these concerns.
Policy Reviews:
Conducting policy reviews with clients to ensure their coverage aligns with their risk exposure and financial goals, making recommendations for adjustments or enhancements as needed.

Overall, an Account Specialist II plays a crucial role in expanding the client base, driving new business revenue growth, and enhancing the reputation of AICPA's sponsored Insurance Program in the market.
The Account Specialist II will develop and implement a Territory action plan to develop and nurture leads while strengthening relationships with existing clients.
Maximizes Client value and customer retention by providing personalized service, proactive communication, and insurance solutions tailored to the Firms specific needs.
Skills and experience that will lead to successProperty & Casualty license must be maintained in order to accurately service clients and within the first 90 days of employment
Experience working in a highly regulated industry
Sales, prospecting, business development and relationship management experience
Insurance sales experience required
Experience with Microsoft office suite products (Word, Excel)
Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Firms and related product knowledge preferred
Proven success in building/ growing a book of business
Education:
Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of shown experience in the insurance industry.
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 to $75,000 annually.
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.How we support our colleagues
