Could This Be For You?:

We are seeking an
HR Business Partner - Hybrid Remote (one day per week work from home.) Working onsite at our Phoenix, AZ location.

This role will also provide remote support to two (2) smaller locations in California as well as occasional support for other locations as needed).

This position will report to the Human Resources Business Leader who supports the broader Hanger Fabrication Network consisting of multiple locations / states.


The HR Business Partner will provide direct, hands-on support to managers to implement programs and initiatives that drive overall business success.

Demonstrated knowledge of the business will be valued by internal stakeholders and HR colleagues helping to identify solutions to build culture and deliver results that drive overall business success.


Day to day, this position will provide hands-on support for 130+ employees located in fabrication/manufacturing as well as support functions within the Phoenix, AZ facility.

This role will also support the California-based fabrication centers (remotely).


The HRBP will lead and/or provide support in the following functional areas such as: HR administration (recruitment, compensation, exit interviews, etc.), compliance, on-boarding activities, retention, employee engagement, benefits, performance management, and recognition.


This role is based in Phoenix, but could require occasional travel, partnering with senior line managers and HR leaders to support the execution of HR programs and initiatives within the network.


Your Impact:
We expect that you will quickly demonstrate your value by:

  • Supporting recruitment activity by being the liaison between staffing agencies for contract labor, Talent Acquisition, and the hiring managers, while ensuring appropriate tools are used to support the recruitment process from end to end.
  • Leading and/ or supporting employee onboarding: site tours, I9 credentialing, direct deposit systems access, facilitating orientation, training (OJT / regulatory), etc.
  • Assisting management with performance management; Performance evaluation process, training, goal alignment, etc.
  • Being the initial point of contact (in many instances) for employee relations issues, making recommendations on how to resolve issues, and escalating to the HR Business Leader as needed.
  • Assisting / guiding management on policy interpretation, laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting retention initiatives: day reviews for new hires, conducting stay interviews for existing employees, facilitating HR Lunch and Learns. Will also conduct exit interviews.
  • Partnering with managers to lead / implement recognition programs, cultural initiatives, and other engagement activities.
  • Demonstrating the ability to run reports and tie HR metrics to business and financial objectives and recommending solutions to help the business achieve its goals.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to daytoday management of employees, reducing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Influencing and coaching managers and supervisors by providing an HR point of view to help drive business results and foster positive employee relations.
  • Exhibiting strong oral and written communication skills; customer centric and results driven.
  • Demonstrating excellent time management skills and following through on all commitments.
  • Demonstrating strong analytical, interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve and think creatively to thrive in a fastpaced environment, while simultaneously managing multiple priorities.
  • Supporting other initiatives as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be formally considered for the role, the following requirements must be met:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, General Business, Management, or related course of study is required.
  • Five (5) years' relevant HR experience.
  • Must be available for occasional travel as needed
  • A valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures is also required.
