    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cabling, telecommunication, field service, and mechanical knowledge. If you have a passion for audiovisual technology and enjoy troubleshooting software issues, we want to hear from you.

    • Duration: 4-6 month contract with possibility of extension or conversion
    • All site locations will be in Dallas Forth Worth area. Mileage will be paid at IRS $.67 per mile.
    • Hourly Rate: $25/hr
    • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
    • Must have reliable transportation

    Duties:

    • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems
    • Perform field service visits to client locations for system setup and maintenance
    • Utilize schematics to guide installations and repairs
    • Handle low-voltage wiring and connections
    • Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment
    • Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues

    Qualifications:

    Proficiency in cabling techniques for audiovisual systems

    Experience in telecommunication or related field service work

    Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to maintain equipment

    Ability to read and interpret schematics for system installations

    Familiarity with low-voltage wiring standards

    Proficient in using hand tools for equipment assembly and disassembly

    Strong skills in software troubleshooting for audiovisual systems
