Job Title:
Personal Care Assistant


Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices as needed
• Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are followed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings, providing transportation if necessary
• Engage in conversation and provide companionship to promote emotional wellbeing
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Experience:

• Previous experience as a personal care assistant or caregiver preferred
• Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
• RELIABLE transportation to travel to client's homes or other locations as needed
