Fairwater Municipality

is currently seeking a Technician (m/f/d) for the municipal building department, starting as soon as possible, in a full-time, permanent position.

Your future responsibilities will include:

  • Construction projects for the municipality (managing construction tasks, architect and engineer contracts, coordination, procedures according to VOB)
  • Structural flood protection
  • Operation and monitoring of water supply and drainage systems (self-monitoring regulations, drinking water regulations) as well as flood protection systems
  • Independent maintenance of municipal buildings and facilities
  • Assisting in the development of tender documents and cost calculations in collaboration with contracted specialist offices
  • Budgeting and cost control of projects

You bring with you:

  • Completed training as a Verwaltungsfachwirt (m/f/d), Verwaltungsfachangestellter (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in construction management and carrying out and settling maintenance measures would be desirable
  • High level of independence, organizational skills, and commitment
  • Thorough knowledge of public building law and procurement law (VOB, VOL,
