- Fields customer inbound sales opportunities via phone, email, chat, and retail (where applicable).
- Engages with customers through outbound activities.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Evaluates the customer's needs and proposes innovative technological solutions.
- Stays up to date with market trends, product applications, technical specifications, market conditions, external influences, promotional activities.
- Utilizes business tools such as Customer Relationship Management, Sales Pipeline Management, Task Management, and Sales Dashboards.
- Performs supply management and reports on customer activities.
- Performs follow up activities with customer such as after sale concerns and backorder filling.
- Participates in trade shows.
- Makes recommendations based on market research for products and opportunities.
- Anticipates potential challenges and finds effective solutions within the guidelines of the of the company.
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in sales with knowledge of the entertainment industry or related transferrable skills such as musician, DJ, sound, or lighting tech.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets
- Demonstratable enthusiasm about specific fields of sound system, lighting, video, and associated support products
- Strong relational and interpersonal skills
