Position Overview:

As a seasoned Federal Business Development and capture professional with a good understanding of the Federal acquisition cycle and processes, you will play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of our federal government client base.

You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and services.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage industry expertise, and contribute to the continued success and growth of our organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the federal government sector, with a focus on agencies and departments relevant to our expertise.

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and potential clients through networking, meetings, and events.

Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring alignment with client requirements and objectives.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics to management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

4+ years of experience in federal business development, preferably within the [relevant industry or sector, e.g., technology, defense, healthcare, etc.].

Proven track record of success in driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and winning new contracts or projects within the federal government market.

Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, regulations, and contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA schedules, IDIQs, GWACs).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business development strategies and plans.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions and exceeding client expectations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required).

Pay:
$80, $90,000.00 per year
