Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions.
This is a full-time position with good compensation and benefits.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Assist wiht employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HRrelated inquiries
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Utilize HRIS systems (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds) to manage employee data and generate reports
- Process all request for new hires received from all dealerships department managers.
- Responsible for checking driving records and scheduling drug screens and criminal background checks.
- Maintain and organize employee files.
- Assist with (FTC) Pay lans and notice of employee documents, and job descriptions
- Complete FMLA/CFRA/PDL paperwork
- Assist with Verifications of Employment
- Complete DMV change of employment forms and distribute live scan forms for sales licenses.
- Order office supplies
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma and certification in Human Resources. A college degree is a plus
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with project management is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail is a must.

$ $25.00 per hour
