The IT Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. They manage network components, troubleshoot issues, ensure network security, and optimize network performance. The role involves collaborating with IT teams to support business operations and implementing best practices for network management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus. Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, and VPN and experience with network security protocols, such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, and firewall configurations. Familiarity with network monitoring tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
