Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Armed Security Officer to join our team.
As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets.
Your primary duty will be to protect against potential threats and respond to emergencies as needed.Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activity
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry
- Respond promptly to incidents, including alarms, disturbances, and emergencies
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
Skills:
- Law enforcement experience or training preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Types:
Full-time, Contract
Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
