Meta seeks a sharp, strategic and highly motivated, team player to join the Litigation team. You will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams across the company.

This role requires good judgment, a strong work ethic, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a strong interest in learning about new technologies and areas of the law.

Lead Counsel, Litigation Responsibilities:

Manage and drive strategy for highprofile litigation and prelitigation matters, including regulatory litigation, consumer class actions, antitrust, constitutional, and commercial disputes, and other contentrelated matters
Collaborate with and manage outside counsel
Advise crossfunctional teams on litigation strategy and risks
Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities in partnership with our worldclass eDiscovery team
Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes

Minimum Qualifications:

J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
5+ years of litigation experience at a law firm, government, and/or inhouse role
Experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
Experience managing high stakes, complex litigation

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with technology companies
Experience defending litigation with state and federal regulators
Experience managing class actions
Experience working with crossfunctional teams, both legal and nonlegal
Trial and appellate experience
