The SSC (Stennis Space Center) and NSSC (NASA Shared Services Center) support teams currently have an opening for a Technical Manager to manage information technology environments in NASA's National Center for Critical Information Processing and Storage (NCCIPS) facility located on Stennis Space Center. This is a great opportunity to be involved with NASA and the Agency's upcoming missions for the Space program.
The applicant will be required to lead a team of System Administrators, Data Base Administrators and Configuration Management specialists to operate and maintain Information Technology (IT) equipment supporting SSC and the NSSC. The applicant will be expected to provide a secure environment and lead the management of System Security Plans (SSPs) for the environments. The applicant will lead the technical team to automate IT processes, eliminate duplicate processes and consolidate environments where possible.
Basic Qualifications:
The candidate must have a BS Degree or equivalent experience and 6 to 10 years in applicable experience with Operational and Technical IT Management. The candidate must be familiar with System Security Plans and be able to guide the update and sign off on SSPs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SSC and NSSC existing Data Center IT environments is a plus.
Understanding of NASA Information Assurance requirements is needed.
An ability to interact well with teammates and NASA is needed.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $108, $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
