Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The position may be based in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area, or Chandler, AZ. You will provide criticalskillsaspartofateamtooperate,manage,troubleshoot,andresolvecomplexnetworkissuesandmaintainasecurenetwork.AthoroughunderstandingofLAN/WANintegration,TCP/IP,switching,androutingisessential. You willalsobeexpectedtoprovideexperienceindeployingdesktops,servers,cabling,switches,bridges,androuterstoensureendtoendconnectivity.Thispositionmayalsosupportsomesystemandserveradministrationanddesktopservicesaspartofalargerteam.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designingandimplementingnetworksolutions,topologies,andservicestoensureefficiency,security,andreliabilityofcurrentnetworks
• Working in a team environment tosupporteffectivecustomerservice
• Analyzing networktopologiesandmakingrecommendationsonnetworkequipmentandservices
• Configuringfirewalls,loadbalancing,routing,andswitchingtomaximizenetworkefficiencyandsecurity
• Maximizingnetworkperformancethroughongoingmonitoringandtroubleshooting
• Arrangingscheduledupgrades
• StrongexperiencewithimplementingconfigurationbaselinesandDoD STIGs
• Strongexperiencewithvulnerabilitymitigationandpatching
• Updatingnetworkequipmenttothelatestfirmwarereleases
• Investigatingfaultsinthenetwork
• Leading andtrainingmorejuniorengineers
• Reportingnetworkstatustokeystakeholders
• Haveflexibleworkinghourstobeavailabletosupportteamwhenneeded
• Performotherassociateddutiesasassigned
• Collaborate and work closely with cyber security personnel and teams to analyze, respond, resolve and recover from network vulnerabilities and issues

Basic Qualifications:

• IATLevelIIcertification
• A CCNA,CCNP,orotherrelatedcertifications -OR- Specialty experience
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline -OR- Successful completion of a certified technical/vocational school
• A minimum of nine (9) year of related experience
• Expertise inWindowsnetworks,CiscoSystems, andnetworkmonitoringproductsandtechnologies
• Experience inrouted,switched,andwirelessLANenvironmentsthatoperateMicrosoft,UNIX,andOpenVMS
• Previous experience with ServiceNow
• Documenting topologiesandrackelevationsusingVisio
• Documenting andtrackingnetworkdevices
• Producing highquality,timely,andaccuratereportsinWordorExcel
• Ability toorganizeandfacilitateplanninganddemonstrations
• Ability totrack,manage,andensureprojecttasksarecompletedinatimelymanner
• Writing effectiveproceduralguidance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must addressissuesrelatedtosynchronousandasynchronouscommunications,Ethernet,FastEthernet,GigabitEthernet,FDDI,ATM,or ISDN.
• Desired experiencewithvariousOTDR,cabletesters,networksniffersfortroubleshooting.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance
• Must be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability; an active EOD suitability is highly desired

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
