Responsibilities
The communications specialist website designer shall support the sponsor in a breadth of activities to include:
- Provide technical, maintenance, and service support to sponsor's data networks and websites
- Maintain all access controls to sponsor sites
- Enhance the structure, user interface, and accessibility to improve information sharing and collaboration across the organization per directions of the sponsor
- Maintain and enhance components look and feel of the parent site and subsites per direction of the sponsor
- Provide O&M and archive data support as appropriate
- Perform data transfers between multiple systems
- Assist in developing data collaboration and access to publications using services in support of programs and meetings.
- Assist with the requirements, design, operation and maintenance of the sponsor's web presence to include coordination with team members to ensure all information is relevant and uptodate.
Qualifications
Required:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance
- BA/BS and 12+ years of experience; Masters and 10+ years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated experience in website design using HTML and CSS
- Demonstrated experience with Joomla content management system
- Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite products to include Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and interpreting technical requirements and conducting technical implementation of documentation
- Prior experience supporting senior management
- Prior experience working across organizational boundaries to achieve mission goals
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft office products to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Prior sponsor experience
- Proactive selfstarter able to support multiple efforts simultaneously
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
