    MGS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our MGS Germantown team.

    The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with an existing strategic customer, working closely with the Vice President of Commercial Operations and the core manufacturing site team.

    • Serve as main liaison for customers' commercial initiatives / opportunities.
    • Gather intel regarding customer's business trends, forecasts, etc.
    • Schedule, prepare and present quarterly business reviews.
    • Consistent, efficient internal communication at appropriate levels regarding status of customer relationship.
    • Arrange and participate in internal and external customer meetings & audits Maintain internal tracking of customer organizational structures (names, job titles, etc).
    • Maintaining sales opportunities/RFQs from existing strategic account
      • Work closely with Estimating to review RFQ's and proposals
      • Presentation of business proposals that effectively demonstrate MGS' value proposition
      • Use CRM software to track and record quoting activity
      • Follow up with strategic account on existing and new quotes on a regular basis
      • Obtain useful customer feedback of MGS proposals
    • Work with marketing staff to handle customer RFI and survey forms
    • Any other duties as assigned.

    A qualified Strategic Account Manager would fulfill these requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
    • 8+ years of applicable experience.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, will be required for customer visits, entertainment, and industry events (approx. 25-50%).
