JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Employee Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance evaluations.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and President, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and handling phone calls.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements for employees, including flights, hotels, and transportation, ensuring costeffectiveness and adherence to company policies.
  • Expense Management: Assist employees with navigating, onboarding, and expense submissions.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations and assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in HR or related field.

PREFERED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lift and carry 15 pounds independently while walking on uneven surfaces
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc. during various weather conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather)
