    A company located in Fountain Inn is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.

    Monday-Friday
    7am-5pm
    Starting at $68k-70k a year.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of automotive projects in accordance with client requirements, budget constraints, and timeline objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement teams, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly monitor progress against established milestones and KPIs.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, ensuring that potential roadblocks are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
    • Work closely with account managers and give feedback on any ECN changes and related cost changes of projects to account manager timely.
    • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in project management preferred.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing automotive projects from concept development through production launch.
    • Strong understanding of automotive industry standards, processes, and best practices, with knowledge of relevant technologies and manufacturing processes such as APQP, PPAP, ITAF16969
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or similar applications.
    • Flexibility to travel as needed to client sites, supplier facilities, and other project-related locations.
