Delta Engineers, Architects, & Surveyors (Delta) is a growing, multidisciplinary AEC firm founded in 1976 and based in the Southern Tier of New York State with additional offices in Central New York and Chevy Chase, MD.

We deliver architectural and engineering design for facilities and infrastructure as well as environmental engineering, survey, landscape architecture, and ecological services to public and private clients.

WHO WE NEED

The primary duties include:

  • Using methods recommended by senior project team members, perform work which involves conventional types of electrical plans, field investigations, and design.
  • Is expected to try to solve engineering problems using experience, judgment and education, but is expected to ask for assistance when required.
  • Prepare, or assist in the preparation of, engineering documents, details, schedules or reports as assigned.
  • Attend client meetings/presentations daytime or evenings.
  • Communicate with client representatives, contractors, suppliers, etc.
  • Serve on field inspection teams to obtain and document existing conditions using field notes, sketches, and photography.
  • Develop quantity take offs and construction cost estimates.
  • Participate in site visits/inspections/documentation during construction
Delta is driven to exceed our clients' expectations on every project. Accordingly, the successful applicant for this position must be willing to occasionally work adjusted hours/overtime.

Hiring Salary Range:
$59,000-65,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)
