The Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry at TUD is seeking a Research Associate/Postdoc (M/F/x) to join the Chair of Molecular Functional Materials starting on July 1, 2024.

This position is limited until September 30, 2025 and is part of the BMBF project "Development and transfer of cost-effective, sustainable and safe dual-ion batteries for stationary energy storage solutions (TransDIB)".

The employment period is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).


Responsibilities for this position include synthesizing and characterizing 2D materials, evaluating the electrochemical performance of developed materials, fabricating battery devices, and assisting with organizational tasks within the DFG project.
