Professional Dog trainer
Seeking an experienced dog trainer who can correct a full range of dog behaviors and train obedience. Comfortable in private and group situations.


Requirements:

• 12 years of professional dog training experience
• Genuine passion for interacting with and training dogs
• Good people skills in both private and group situations
• Reliable transportation
• Spreadsheet skills (logging hours, tracking progress)
• Experience using an E-Collar
• Certification preferred

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a love and passion for training dogs The primary focus of this position will be working hands on with dogs with behavioral issues (barking, jumping on people, lack of obedience etc.) and correcting these issues to provide clients with a dog they can trust and love stress free.

You will be expected to communicate the training principles applied in your sessions effectively to clients so they can continue to reinforce these behaviors themselves.

Sessions will consist of both one-on-one training and group classes throughout San Diego County, with group classes taking place at local parks and private sessions being either in-home or at a park, whichever is suitable for the dog being worked with.
