Description
Mary's Woods is looking for an energetic, compassionate and team oriented Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Health Services department.
As a CNA at Mary's Woods, you will work collaboratively to provide excellent care to older adults while continuing to promote our mission and vision.
Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001.We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego.
We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring and welcoming culture. We are seeking passionate team members to join us in fulfilling our mission and values.Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience and skills needed to be successful:
Provide direct care to residents under direct supervision according to policies and procedures, and ensure care to our residents is provided in an atmosphere of comfort, independence and dignityMust be comfortable working independently and with othersMust be able to manage time and complete tasks effectivelyMust be comfortable working with people with DementiaMust have an unencumbered Oregon State Certified Nursing Assistant certification, if hired as a CNAEducation and
Experience Required:
Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma or GEDRequired to obtain your Food Handler's, CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire Must have an Oregon State Certified Nursing Assistant certification or a minimum of six months hands-on service-providing experienceMust have experience in home health or long term careMust be able to work as part of a team
