Summary of Position

HMT LLC is currently seeking a talented drafter / Intern to join our Services Engineering Department.

This person will be responsible for Structural and Plate Metal Detailing for Field Erected structures for the Above Ground Storage Tank Industry.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce drawings and clarifications as needed to support shop fabrication and field construction. (weldments, assemblies, etc.)
  • Maintain drawings and other engineering documents through checking, approval, and release cycle.
  • Maintain file systems for electronic CAD files.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials.
  • Work as part of a team on New Tanks and Repair and Maintenance projects.
  • Maintain engineering revisions and distribution of drawings and updates.

Qualification & Education:

  • Preferred /

Minimum Education:
Associates-level degree and/or AutoCAD Certification.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Relevant experience: Above Ground Storage Tank, Structural drafting,
