Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Patient Access, provides for optimal "First Impressions", operation, staffing and communication at the assigned customer service areas.
Visitor Representatives serve as the communication link between patients, families, and visitors and all services provided by TOH. The provision of accurate information and individualized assistance to all customers is a key function.A "Servant" attitude is required in cooperation and communication with all internal and external customer groups including; physicians, nursing staff, ancillary staff, patients, families, visitors, and all vendors.
The desire to create a "remarkable" experience for all customer groups is the foundation for the performance of all staff.
Job Qualifications
Experience:
Two years minimum in a public service or patient care environment.
Education:
Minimum of a high school education or its equivalent (GED) with course work, training and/or experience in customer service and general office or clerical duties.
