    CNC ProgrammerA growing company in Thousand Oaks is looking to hire a CNC Programmer. The company is a medical device manufacturer and is known for their innovation, technology and customer service.

    Thousand Oaks, CASalary:
    $ $41.00/hr(DOE)This is a Direct HireThe CNC programmer has the primary responsibility of operating computer numeric controlled production equipment to produce quality parts. Must be able to program and operate 3-axis mills and lathes with live tooling. The CNC programmer is capable of developing and maintaining accurate and efficient CNC machine code. Responsible for utilizing CAD, CAM and various other systems to manage a library of tooling, programs and metal cutting information.


    Responsibilities:


    Analyze drawings, blueprints and design data in order to calculate correct part dimensions for machines, tool selection, machine speeds and feed ratesCreate new CNC program, setup instructions, first article inspection review and error resolution, fixture design, modify existing CNC programsMake the right cutting tool selections based on work holding device, material type, material removal volume, speeds, feeds and machine tool limitationsDevelop, write probe logic macros to perform on machine touch probe measuring, work offset updates, cutter offset updates and part feature data collectionSetup and operate CNC lathes and mills for the production of partsRequirements:At least 5 years of experience in CNC programming and operationMastercam experience is a plus, but not a mustFanuc controller experience is a plus, but not a mustProven experience designing fixtures and work holding methodsSoft SkillsAmbitiousApprenticeship level okEager and willing to learn Enthusiastic Great ExecutionAPPLY NOWCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $ $41.
