CNC Programmer/Setup Operator

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (8hr) + Overtime as needed

Pay:
/hr

S&S Numerical is a leading aerospace company supplying our customers with the highest quality interior cabin assemblies.

This position is for a backup CNC programmer/setup operator. Focusing on editing programs and helping other operators with setups as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Create/edit part programs using Mastercam
Perform advanced level setup of machines
Read and edit G and M code on haas machines
Work with machinists during test run of program to ensure process is good
Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools
Understand and comprehend all forms of technical documents including blueprints and drawings, written specifications, charts, tables, etc.
Maintain a track record of highquality work with low rework and scrap history.
Maintain high efficiencies and run rates for given machine.
Work safely and as part of a high performing team.
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic machine maintenance
Conformance to FOD policy
Document work completed and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

Works independently, follow instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail
Properly uses basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.)
Understanding of basic machine language (G and M codes)
Strong communication skills
Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity
2 years of CNC programming experience
