- Offer surgical support across various procedures, such as general surgery, orthopedics, spine surgery, thoracic surgery, and urology.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and healthcare partners to ensure optimum patient results.
- Prepare the operative environment, anticipating the surgeon's requirements and maintaining sterility.
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment efficiently.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs.
- Provide post-operative care under the surgeon's direction.
- Follow all safety guidelines diligently.
- Active California RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years' RNFA experience, ideally in a teaching hospital.
- Previous exposure to Level 1 or 2 Trauma Centers is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system is preferred.
- Prior experience as a charge nurse is a plus.
- Required: ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Past first assist roles in general surgery are a must.
- Specialized experience in Orthopedics, Orthopaedic Spine, Thoracic Surgery, or Urology is highly valued.
- Completion of Fire Safety Training.
