- Assist in the implementation the Infant/toddler curriculum for children in a center-based setting.
- Be knowledgeable about: Developmentally appropriate practices and the CT Early. Learning and Development Standards Planning according to the individual needs of each child.
- Developmental assessments and conducting observations of children daily.
- Encouraging family engagement in the program.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Experience is a must.
- Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (Preferred) or Associate Degree or higher in a related field with coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred (Degree is a requirement).
- Applicants must be skilled in building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Experience working with young children or in a licensed childcare center is a must.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
