    + **Duties**

    As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Branch Manager), you will:

    Develop Branch goals and objectives, independently or jointly with higher management, with the objective to set program goals and monitor progress toward meeting those goals. Lead and evaluate long-range planning for the Branch.

    Evaluate the status, progress, and efficiency of operations. Provide advice to the Director on changes to and schedules for programs or major projects. Recommend the amount of resources needed for particular projects. Review the progress of projects at various intervals and recommends any adjustments.

    Attend meetings at the Division, Office, and Bureau levels to exchange information, resolve problems, and interpret broad changes in regulations and policies. Assist in the planning and development of new regulations and/or procedures. Assist with the adjustment or redefinition of broad objectives to meet evolving requirements.

    Analyze and evaluate performance of the RSS programs and branch directed, as well as new and proposed legislation affecting these programs.

    ** Qualifications**

    **You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.**

    **Specialized Experience:** You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the **GS-13** grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Leading or supervising a team of analysts engaged in supporting daily program or system support operations.

    **Examples of specialized experience for this position includes:**

    Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in providing operational or, technical guidance to analysts or customers related to claims processing and payments; **OR**

    Conducting or overseeing debt financing auction operations from a business perspective (monitoring auction activity, looking for patterns or anomalies, etc.) or a systems perspective (monitoring connections, jobs, performance, error codes, etc.) and initiating appropriate action; **OR**

    Leading analysis and developing solutions to enhance operational processes and efficiencies dealing with claims processing, payments, and systems; **OR**

    Experience representing knowledge of claims processing and payments, in writing and in person, presenting facts and findings to varied audiences (including Treasury executives), exchanging ideas, defending rationale, presenting recommendations, and negotiating solutions to political issues that arise during operations.

    **In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:**

    For the **GS-14** you must have been at the **GS-13** level for 52 weeks.

    **CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:**

    A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.

    Must successfully complete a background investigation. Periodic reinvestigation is required no later than five years after selection and at least every succeeding five years.

    Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.

    Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
