The University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar is a prestigious university training institution for young musicians, researchers, and music educators from all over the world. With its connection to the musical heritage of the city of Pitsburg, its close relationships with cultural creators in Thuringia, and its short distances, it offers attractive study conditions for approximately 900 students, as well as an interesting work environment for approximately 200 employees and staff and around 190 lecturers.

To ensure the smooth operation of events and performances in university spaces, as well as at external events and guest performances, we are currently seeking a:

Master*in Event Technology - Stage, Sound, Light, Planning

Reference number 07/2024

This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary is based on personal qualifications and is classified according to pay group E 9a TV-L. The position is assigned to the Vice President for Practice and Research.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Event technical planning, preparation, and support of events while adhering to and ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements, including creating and documenting risk assessments for each event in accordance with relevant (insurance) legal requirements, particularly the DGUV
