    Description
    Job Title- Sr. Site Reliability Engineer
    Location- Lafayette, LA
    We need a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join our Health Care client.
    The role for developing, implementing and overseeing the architecture of systems that support the organization's software products and services.
    This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of these systems while aligning them with business objectives.
    Bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, focusing on creating scalable and reliable systems.

    Your future duties and responsibilities

    System Architecture:

    Design and implement systems and infrastructure components to meet reliability, scalability, and performance requirements, taking into consideration best practices and industry standards.


    Reliability Engineering:
    Develop strategies and practices to ensure the reliability and availability of systems, and monitoring.

    Automation:
    Implement automation solutions to reduce manual intervention and improve system reliability.

    Performance Optimization and scalability:
    Continuously analyze and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.

    Monitoring and Alerting:
    Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and respond to incidents and anomalies.

    Incident Response:

    Collaborate with incident response teams to develop incident management processes and playbooks for rapid resolution of system outages and issues.

    Understanding on enterprise SLO's

    Documentation:
    Maintain thorough documentation of system architecture, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements in SRE practices and processes.

    Observability:
    Collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role
    Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
    Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in SRE principles and practices.
    Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    Strong working experience in monitoring tools like such as Dynatrace and Splunk
    Expertise in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible).
    Solid understanding of APIs
    Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

    OpenTelemetry:
    Observability framework for cloud-native software
    Relevant certifications (e.g., SRE foundation, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
