Description
We are seeking for a Full-time Press Assistant to join our second shift (2pm-10pm).

This position is responsible for assisting Press Operators as necessary by ensuring proper supplies and equipment are available to run jobs.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Ensures Printing Press Operators have the proper materials and supplies.
  • Reviews Press schedule and stages orders for Press Operators.
  • Helps set up new jobs by installing plates, cylinders, rollers, dies and screens.
  • Ensures rolls of raw material are mounted on unwind shaft during production run.
  • Disassembles, cleans and reassembles ink trays/chambers. Mounts printing plates, stage jobs and relieves operator during breaks as needed.
  • Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Must have good mechanical skills and be able to use basic hand tools.
  • Must be capable of occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for 8 hours.
  • Ability to work independently and be self motivated.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, push, pull and reach overhead.
  • Experience working in a high tech manufacturing environment desired.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)

Pay starts at $19 per hour + shift premium
