Job Overview:
PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN at the HOLLYWOOD PRESBYTERIAN MEDICAL CENTER, seeking for a medical assistant, scriber a plus.


Duties:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner at the front desk.
• Manage patient checkins, verify insurance information, and update necessary records in the system.
• Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain electronic medical records using systems like eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or similar software.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and handling patient paperwork.
• Collaborate with medical personnel to relay messages or provide assistance during emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using medical office systems and software for managing patient records.
• Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient information.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, staff, and external contacts professionally.

Pay:
$ $23.62 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
