Data Analyst
This role requires someone sufficiently familiar with structured query language (SQL) across different operating systems to assist with data cleaning, parsing, and labeling, and resolving queries to train/improve/adapt current analytic models.
Responsibilities:
- Write scripts that can generate files from claims / remittance files that identify likely underpayments by managed care insurers. Scripts are to be based on text format information.
- Resolve queries to train/improve/adapt current analytic models
- Perform data cleaning, parsing and labelling tasks as needed
- Interact and communicate with auditors who will be utilizing the files so as to optimize the overall work product
- Work largely independently, with some team collaboration, on different tasks / projects simultaneously
- Manage task priorities and timely deliver quality work, in an agile environment where tasks can change quickly
- Meet and maintain project expectations and standards. Work to the direction of your supervisors and with the wider team on various tasks.
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports and feedback to supervisors
- Participate in training & development sessions as appropriate
- Solid understanding and experience with SQL and Power BI
- Competent computer and software skills across different operating systems.
- Excellent English: Proficient reading, writing and comprehension skills.
- Healthcare analytics experience is a plus.
- IT background preferred, but not required.
- Problemsolving and reasoning skills.
- Meeting daily KPI's to meet project requirements.
- Ability to track, analyze, report issues and work progression
- Proactiveness (confidence in sharing information, escalating when necessary /appropriate)
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently
- Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Pay:
$42, $65,000.00 per year
