These are your responsibilities:

  • Conceptualization, installation, and administration of Linuxbased server systems
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of application and system updates
  • Support for disruptions of Linux servers in second and thirdlevel support
  • Collaboration in the development and implementation of high availability concepts and participation in projects
  • Implementation and monitoring of internal security policies
  • Development of software tools for automating IT system operations, including update and patch management
  • Consulting and support for the DevOps team and departments

You bring with you:

  • Completed degree in information technology or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in managing and operating virtual systems, as well as the automation solution "puppet" is advantageous
  • Knowledge of common scripting languages
  • Independent and responsible work ethic, structured and analytical approach, and teamwork skills
  • Good to excellent German and English language skills
