- Develop complete client information and applications for new and renewal business under the direction of the Producer. Identify and request renewal exposures.
- Guide clients through the renewal process, in conjunction with the Producer and submits requests to carriers according to the renewal process timetable, follows up with carrier underwriters and complete the appropriate renewal per agency procedures. Review experience modifiers.
- Process change requests/endorsements, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audit, and account balance status when requested. Ensure that these items are given to client in a timely manner. Initiate appropriate correspondence with carriers and clients.
- Respond to requests from clients and insurance companies.
- Maintain files with proper records according to company procedures. Maintain good internal file audit results.
- Assist in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognize and satisfy carrier goals and objectives in order to enhance business relationships.
- You need to be well organized to handle the workflow, billing, processing of new and renewal business, and diaries/follow ups for outstanding paperwork, additional information, etc.
- Good communication skills are needed - as you will be speaking and communicating with clients and company underwriters.
- Good writing skills - to send clear and intelligent correspondence, emails, etc. to clients and company underwriters.
- Experience on Vertafore/AMS 360 is very important.
- Current/Active Property and Casualty License - CE up to date
