    As part of a small team, you will be responsible for implementing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance requests required to support a rocket engine manufacturing/testing site. This is a hands-on position focused on industrial maintenance with emphasis on facilities building systems. Facilities include launch vehicle, engine manufacturing, integration and testing.

    As part of a small, passionate and 21st-century accomplished team of experts, you will push the boundaries of what's possible in maintaining all facilities and equipment, including major systems (HVAC, HVAC controls, sprinkler and fire detection, security, electrical, communication, and plumbing). You will contribute substantively to the team's impact on all aspects of building and operating a 21st century production plant. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration, requiring your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.

    Responsibilities:

  • Supporting rocket engine testing
  • Installs and monitors performance of installed site equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement
  • Coordinating site outages and power upgrades
  • Leads, guides, and/or trains contracted help
  • Repairs and maintains electrical and mechanical systems
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as directed by engineering
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
  • Reads, employs and updates electrical panel schedules
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Project planning, schedule and cost estimation
  • Preparing and submitting purchase order requests
  • Developing sources for stock materials
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School diploma
  • At least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test site equipment
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade
  • Ability to lead and manage workload
  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
  • Ability to install and maintain motors, welding equipment, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, pumps, generators, circuit breakers, and as appropriate to the position
  • Strong safety mindset and experience, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical operations
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Desired:

  • OSHA 30 trained
  • EPA Universal Technician
  • NFPA 70E
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing, or integration and test sites
  • Maximo's Experience, Project Management

    Benefits

    Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.

    Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

    Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
