Description

Job Goal:
Somerville High is continuing a summer program for rising 9th grade students.

The summer program will provide a positive and cooperative learning environment which will address student academic needs as well as their social emotional needs.

This program is designed to orient students with Somerville High School to ease their transition from 8th to 9th grade.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Preferred experience teaching 9th grade
  • Experience with building relationships with students
  • A strong ability to work with students of varying levels
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students
  • Strong organizational and effective communication skills

Terms of Employment:


  • Seasonal/Yearly Employment
  • Location: Somerville High School
- $35 per hour worked

Program Schedule:

Monday through Friday
