_ What you will do:

This position is responsible for the prompt and courteous assistance to all patients of DVCH. This position is responsible for courteously answering patient calls and scheduling medical appointments for each health center.

The position is responsible for completing all initial paperwork involved in patient registration and producing the encounter form which allows the patient to be examined by a provider.

This position acts as back-up for the MOH/Medical Clerk as necessary.

If an employee is unable receive the vaccine for medical or religious reasons, a vaccine exemption form must be completed and submitted to the Employee Health Department.

Medical exemptions will be reviewed and approved in coordination with the Chief Medical Officer and religious exemptions will be reviewed and approved in coordination with the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be able to function independently in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to present a positive and enthusiastic demeanor while directly working with patients. Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required.
