    ***Part-Time 2nd shift (3p-11p) Every Other Saturday & Sunday.***

    ****Job Responsibilities:****

    Receive all information that is pertinent from the prior shift.

    Answer the phone within 30 seconds. Resident calls must be answered right away as they dial 0 instead of 911 during an emergency.

    Greet all visitors and direct them accordingly.

    Answer all resident inquiries.

    Conduct all page announcements when necessary ( e.g., fire alarms-all clear).

    Direct all incoming calls to the appropriate place and take any message when necessary.

    Respond and report on all in-house pagers when necessary.

    Use of the in-house radios at only appropriate times.

    Monitor and respond to the fire alarm system

    Monitor security cameras.

    Provide the sale of all newspapers and postage to residents and employees.

    Record and notify all residents when packages arrive.

    Input and display daily menus, activities and special events on the Wesley Glen TV channel.

    Sign out and receive calls from residents signing out for less than 24 hours.

    Provide or assist residents with LOA forms.

    Verify the meal checklist.

    Make all reservations for guest meals and guestroom at Wesley Glen.

    Provide or assist residents with maintenance and housekeeping orders.

    Collect payments, send out orders and notify residents when outside vendors are providing a service.

    Record the independent living census and distribute to the appropriate areas.

    Notify all independent living residents when technicians are present to provide a service (e.g., draw blood, specimens, etc.).

    Sign out the kitchen keys to the appropriate employees.

    Update and prepare the logbook with all important information such as fire alarms, falls, house calls, system problems, deaths and/or any other important information.

    Prepare copies and type all information requested by departments.

    Distribute paychecks during the allotted times.

    ****Job Requirements:****

    Good verbal and written communication skills.

    Pleasant disposition with residents, families, employees and all external customers.

    Possess basic typing skills.

    Knowledge of copying machines and other office instruments.

    Ability to read, write and understand the English language
