    We are seeking top-notch Medical Assistants to become a part of our team We have opportunities in the clinical department, providing direct patient healthcare and at our Front Desk as a Medical Scheduler. We're looking to build a strong team of like-minded, caring individuals who have a strong work ethic and integrity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Delight the patients with gentle, compassionate care
    • Handle all clinical duties in a timely manner
    • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
    • Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
    • Escort patients to exam rooms and to check-out
    • Attention to detail for accurate EHR charting and documentation of patient care
    • Dependable and Reliable - Attendance is an essential job function

    ​Qualifications:

    • Empathy and superior customer service skills
    • Previous experience in healthcare
    • Medical Assistant Degree, Diploma or Certification
    • Familiarity with charting and documentation as it relates to the patient's health history and billing
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to remain gentle, calm and compassionate with patients and co-workers
    • Neat, Clean and Professional

    Our Medical Scheduler will assist in medical records processing, triaging patient cases for urgency or referrals, registering patients, documentation, scheduling, entering insurance policy information accurately, educating and guiding as well as processing payments. As the patient's first point of contact, you will be an ambassador of the St. Luke's image
