We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager responsible for driving the strategy and execution of our performance marketing channels to deliver an exceptional experience for customers.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement, retention, and loyalty within our business.

A successful lifecycle marketing manager is strategic, passionate, ambitious, and a self-starter who is eager to drive the business. They excel in leadership, communication, problem solving and analytics.


The Lifecycle Marketing Manager role is a great opportunity to learn multiple aspects of a rapidly growing niche ecommerce business.

This role has interactions with category management, brand marketing, creative, digital merchandising, customer support and external agency partners allowing exposure to all sides of our business.

You will have to successfully work cross-functionally with our Site Curators, Partner Success, Marketing, Creative, Customer Service and Analytics team to maximize orders and traffic.

This is a brand-new role for the business to be the advocate for our members - sharing great brands, products and services and offering amazing value.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Own traffic, orders and conversion goals for triggers and SMS programs.
  • Be the expert on our members and develop a segmentation strategy that we can implement.
  • Leverage existing tech stack to personalize the member journey across various touchpoints.
  • Review and analyze existing programs to make datadriven decisions to improve our member communication.
  • Support paid marketing efforts with audience segmentation.
  • Develop a strategy to grow loyalty, referrals and how to better incorporate them into our member communications.
  • Understand GOVX partners and the products we offer to better serve the right brands to our members.
  • Help support key initiatives and launches of new brands and partners.
  • Understand value propositions for the member depending on where they are at in the funnel.
  • Identify promotional opportunities in existing channels to support paid marketing services.
  • Work crossfunctionally with internal teams (including but not limited to category management, brand marketing, creative, digital merchandising, customer support, product development) to support the performance marketing goals.
  • Recommend business decisions to Senior Management based on market data, internal sales and profitability.
  • Complete business recaps to be shared with senior management quarterly.
  • Identify and shop retail and webbased competition.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 years' experience in a management and people leader role.
  • Loyalty or Referral management experience a plus.
  • Google Ads, Facebook advertising experience a plus.
  • Solution and results oriented.
  • Passionate and mission driven.
  • Strong relationship building and partnership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior analytical, negotiation, math and Excel skills
  • Intermediate experience with Google Analytics or a similar web analytics platform. Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize based on materiality to drive growth.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Work Location

This is a hybrid position that combines working onsite at the GOVX corporate office in San Diego, CA and working remotely from home.

You will be required to report to the office a minimum of three days per week and work a full eight-hour shift each day from the office.

No relocation allowance or visa sponsorship will be provided.
