Acoustics and Vibration Engineer (f/m/d)Ref. 68987


Your Responsibilities:
As an Acoustics and Vibration Engineer (f/m/d) in Brunswick, OH, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Conducting acoustics and vibration analyses for the integration of new equipment and stores
  • Defining, preparing, executing, and supporting qualification tests and flight test campaigns
  • Managing external suppliers and partners

Personal Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a multinational team
  • Problemsolving attitude and ability to work autonomously
  • Willingness to travel (approximately once a quarter for one week)

Professional Training/Studies:

  • Minimum of a Master's or Diploma degree in engineering, aeronautics and astronautics, or acoustics and vibration

Work Experience:

  • Mandatory experience in aerospace engineering or a similar field
  • Mandatory experience in acoustics and vibration
  • Required experience with structural dynamic testing
  • Desirable experience with data acquisition, handling, processing, and analysis
  • Advantageous experience with MIL-STD810

IT Skills:

  • Knowledge of detailed functions in MS-Access
  • Minimum knowledge of detailed functions in MS-Office
  • Minimum knowledge of detailed functions in Matlab
  • Advantageous experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
  • Knowledge of Linux is a plus

Languages:

  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of German is advantageous

Knowledge:

  • Mandatory knowledge of defining vibration environments
