    Overview

    JOB SUMMARY: Assists guests at the Guest Services Center by providing information about the Medical Center and solving their inquiries.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent with three years of work experience. University courses in communications or psychology preferred.

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Helps guests by solving problems and providing information.
    2. Guides visitors to different areas of the Medical Center.
    3. Shares information about Medical Center policies and procedures.
    4. Uses computer systems to find requested information.
    5. Performs other related duties as needed.

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Familiarity with Medical Center layout and services.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Clean, well-lit, comfortable surroundings.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • May involve standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, using fingers, talking, hearing, and seeing.
    • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs. maximum.
