- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of utility infrastructure projects, including water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and hydraulic analyses to evaluate project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents for utility projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and permitting requirements.
- Utilize PLS-CADD software for the design and analysis of overhead utility structures, ensuring structural integrity and reliability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to coordinate project activities and achieve project objectives.
- Perform site grading, drainage design, and erosion control measures to optimize the performance and resilience of utility infrastructure.
- Provide technical support during construction, inspection, and commissioning phases, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct field surveys, inspections, and assessments of existing utility systems, identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in utility engineering, and apply this knowledge to enhance project delivery and innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional development within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on utility infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD software for utility structure design and analysis is essential.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including site development, grading, and drainage design.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, SWMM) and GIS platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to utility infrastructure projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in engineering practices.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, client meetings, and industry events as required.
