    About Island House:
    The Island House Condominium is a community in Margate City, NJ. There are 153 units in the building which are individually owned. The Front Desk is located in the lobby common area of the building.

    Job Description:

    Directly reporting to the General Manager, this individual will support the Front Desk team through hands-on training and assuring that customer service and security is being provided to the residents.

    This position requires a 40-hour work week, Scheduled days are Monday through Friday with alternating schedule of weekend hours throughout the year, the scheduled days can be modified as needed to confirm Front Desk coverage including Summer Season weekends.


    Responsibilities:

    • Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the safety and security of all residents and their guests.
    • Front Desk Supervisor assures that all front desk policies and procedures are being adhered to by the front desk staff.
    • Coordinating solutions to scheduling issues, including finding coverage for shifts.
    • Responsible for maintaining detailed and organized records of all interactions.
    • Each shift has different responsibilities that are outlined in the policies and procedures manual.
    • Assist Manager and Administrative Assistant with various operational tasks.

    Qualification:

    • Must be sharp, maintain even disposition. 2
    • Ability to multi-task. The summer months are very busy with owners and guests.
    • Must be able to make quick decisions if Manager not on property.
    • Working knowledge of computer and camera systems.
    • Must have sufficient prior work experience.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
    • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs Education:
    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Experience:
    Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
