Position Overview:

Title: Public Safety Officer

Location: MCW Main Campus. Milwaukee, WI

Role Description:

As a Public Safety Officer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and security of the MCW community and its partners.

This community-oriented role requires dynamic individuals who excel in customer service and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct proactive patrols by foot, bike, or vehicle to ensure campus safety.
Respond promptly to calls involving medical emergencies, safety escorts, theft reports, vehicle assistance, and more.
Write detailed incident reports and manage situations involving threats or emergencies.
Engage in a variety of security operations including executive protection details and special events security.
Provide safety and security training and awareness to the community.

Preferred Schedule:
3rd Shift; 5-2 Schedule Roation - Weekend Shifts Required

Position Requirements:

Requirements:

Education: Associate degree or equivalent educational experience.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in security, law enforcement, or military.

Certifications: Valid motor vehicle operator's license, WI Carry Concealed License (within 3 months of hire), BLS Provider, and AED certification preferred.

Age: Must be 21 years or older at the time of hire.

Excellent communication skills and diligence in safety practices.
Dependability in fulfilling duties independently and punctually.
