Duties and Responsibilities:
- setup procedural rooms
- assist in patient care
- maintain inventory
- collaborate with labs
- cross train with and backup front office
- assist clinicians in obtaining and maintaining patient histories
- complete x-rays and intra-oral photos when appropriate
- educate patients and work independently with patient care following procedures
- ensure the sterility of instruments and operatory before subsequent patients arrive
- actively deliver compassionate care by striving to keep patients focused on the best possible treatment
- perform daily, weekly and/or monthly maintenance on dental equipment
- maintain compliance with state, federal, and other regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Dental or Medical Assistant training
- Xray certification preferred
- positive and professional attitude and excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills
- strong organizational, task, and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion
- self-motivated multi-tasker, problem-solver, and team player, with the ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with others
- ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time arrival to work as scheduled
- knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols, as well as HIPAA and safety guidelines
- compassionate and ready to provide excellent patient care
- bilingual a plus
