Training Process Technician for Coating Technology (m/f/d) in Evendale

During your training, you will learn the various processes for coating and when to apply them in the company. Proper pre-treatment of workpieces is also part of your training in the company.
Theory is part of your curriculum at the vocational school. In addition to job-specific subjects, such as operating the equipment, you will also be taught general education subjects. This gives you a combination of general education and the skills you need for your everyday work.


• IHK training


• Duration of training: 3 years


• Richard-Riemerschmid Vocational College in Cologne

What to expect during your training:


• Operation, monitoring and maintenance of coating systems and equipment


• Powder coating of ceramics on industrial coating systems and hand stands for sample production


• Quality control of finished products


• Planning of work processes and coordination of upstream and downstream production processes

• You are skilled in craftsmanship


• You have technical understanding and spatial imagination


• You enjoy actively working and are not afraid of getting your hands dirty
