Full Time Custodian - New London, United States - SMG Corporate Services

Description

SMG is seeking an energetic custodian to join our Housekeeper/Custodian Team. The custodian will perform general cleaning duties in designated buildings as assigned by the Client and Operations Manager.

The designated custodian must have excellent customer service skills, work well in a team environment, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and multitask.

The duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Empties trash receptacles in the offices and classrooms.
• Vacuum and sweeps floors, carpets, and rugs.
• Clean the main cafeteria twice a day: empty trash, wipe down tables and sweep.
• Assist Client with work requests and daily operations as needed.
• Respond to work promptly, professionally, respectfully, and proactively.

Hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm or 4:00am-12:00noon.


Skills and Abilities to:

• Read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
• Be customer service oriented, have initiative, and work under tight timelines with supervision or mínimal.
• Efficiently and safely perform various custodial service tasks as instructed by the team leader or Manager and be open to constructive feedback.

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
